Paper Abstract:      E-micropayment program is now undergoing a revival in Taiwan. Transport-related company and convenience stores are issuing their own non bank-issued e-micropayment programs and have achieved good success. However due to the restriction imposed by Taiwan’s Banking Act, these programs can only be used within the sector related to the issuers. Hence issuers co-operate with local banks to introduce bank-issued programs in the past two years to widen their scope of usage. Through an extended “Post-acceptance Model of IS Continuance”, we examine the factors which influence users to continue using non bank-issued programs. A factor working positively for such programs is network externality.
